Smart Farming Webinar - **NEW DATE** 22 July 2021
Smart Farming is a form of Precision Agriculture/Horticulture, where growers use ‘smart’ communications technology to improve their business.
Practically, this is a series of on-site digital data monitoring points where the collected information is fed to, and stored in a central computer that enables better proactive decision making, improved production efficiencies, optimal labour use and environmental performance.
GIA are hosting a webinar to introduce this exciting project to the industry.
Facilitated by Project Officer Barry Naylor and specialist scientist David Hunt, the webinar will outline the many benefits of embracing this new technology in your production nursery and will include video from the pilot ‘smart farm’ production nursery where the technology is being trialled on the ground.
Join the webinar on Thursday 17 June 2021 between 1.00pm-1.40pm to learn more about the project.
