Smart Farming workshop: Tuesday 25 October 2022
Greenlife Industry Australia (GIA), as part of the Smart Farming Partnerships project funded under the National Landcare program and Hort Innovation, will be conducting a series of free Smart Farming workshops in each state to showcase the technology installed at the Smart Production Nursery, Golden Grove Nursery in Queensland.
The first workshop will be held in Melbourne, Victoria and will provide managers and staff with the opportunity to learn about how smart farming technology can improve nursery production. Details are as follows:

11:30am: Selecting, choosing, and installing smart sensors for a Smart Production Nursery - Which sensor and why
12:00pm: Potential problems that may be encountered when installing sensors

1:30pm: How agtech/smart sensors can help to reduce energy usage and operating costs
1:45pm: Presentation by Choice Energy on selecting and installing a solar photovoltaic (PV) system
