New MUPs available

Two Minor Use Permits (New Applications) have been approved by the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) for the nursery industry. Minor Use Permit number PER89239 and PER90147 are now available as described below.
PER89239 - TEPPAN 50SL Insecticide, plus other registered products containing 50g/L CYCLANILIPROLE, for the management of various insects including lepidoptera adults, larvae and hatched eggs, beetles, leafminer, psyllids, soft scales, weevils and whiteflies. Suppression of: aphids, stink bug nymphs, thrips and mealybugs in Nursery stock (non-food) – seedlings (excluding vegetable and herb seedlings) tubes and plugs, potted colour, trees & shrubs, foliage plants, palms, grasses and fruiting plants (non-bearing), cut flowers and ornamentals.

PER90147 – ecocarb Fungicide, plus other registered products containing 940g/kg POTASSIUM BICARBONATE, for the management of Powdery mildew in Nursery stock (non-food) – seedlings, tubes and plugs, potted colour, trees & shrubs, foliage plants, palms, grasses and fruiting plants (non-bearing), cut flowers and ornamentals.
