Mid-strategy review - GIA Industry Survey
By Kobie Keenan
A major objective of Greenlife Industry Australia’s (GIA) 2020-2023 strategy is to provide excellent service and value for Members. To understand how well GIA is delivering against this objective, we are seeking your feedback on our performance over the last 18 months.
In 2016, then national peak body NGIA appointed agricultural research company Down to Earth Research (DTER) to conduct a survey on the performance of all associations in the NGI network. To fully understand the sentiment of the industry at the time, DTER engaged with current, lapsed and non-members to measure collective association performance.
The results of the research within the review of the industry structure, prompted the National Reinvention Project and the subsequent establishment of Greenlife Industry Australia.
GIA Mid-strategy Review
To be a strong, adaptable, and influential organisation for members, GIA must be reflexive, and our planning must be iterative – enabling ongoing improvement in service and benefit delivery for Members.
While GIA is interested in the impact of the restructure on those 2016 performance benchmarks, the Board is also keen to understand the industry’s opinion on the progress of 2020-2023 Strategic Plan.
This survey is an opportunity to share your thoughts around GIA’s strategic priority areas of advocacy, promotion, sustainability, careers and member services which you can also consider in the most recent Annual Report.
The survey is open to all Members, lapsed members and non-members of the industry. Your participation in this process is important as it provides guidance to GIA in how we represent Members nationally to protect your investments, develop your market and reduce your costs.
The survey closes on 28 May 2021.
