Flood - Natural Disaster Support Resources
Many industry businesses are currently preparing for floods or experiencing flood as a result of the one in fifty year rain event currently impacting New South Wales and parts of South East Queensland.
Your safety is most important - please follow the advice of emergency and rescue services.

Australian Government Disaster Recovery Payment is available for immediate assistance has been activated with $1,000 for each adult and $400 for each child affected. Read more about accessing the payment here
Disaster Recovery Allowance has also been activated. If you can show you lost income as a direct result of the floods in New South Wales in March 2021, you have until 20 September 2021. Access the allowance application here

Information for NSW Government disaster relief loans are available for primary producers. Read more
Grant opportunities (rather than loans) are available to primary producers could soon become available as a result of the disaster declaration under the joint Commonwealth and NSW government funded Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) 2018 . NSW Rural Assistance Authority administer these funds. Check in to the website for updates. Read more
