A Fond Farewell After 13 Years
Finance Manager Jennifer Nesini is on the move after 13 years with NGIA.
In Jennifer’s time with the industry she has restructured the national accounts introducing automation and efficiencies into the previously manual process; delivered countless budgets and forecasts to the Board, overseen the financial audits and prepared multiple annual reports; managed finances for the levy projects; supported the FMS team and much more. More recently, Jennifer has been integral to the establishment of Greenlife Industry Australia.
Jennifer has a very keen eye for detail looking after many of NGIA’s contractual relationships and negotiations; is a great source of advice and has significantly contributed to the day to day operations of NGIA. Jennifer has attended recent national conferences and is a familiar face to many; and while she has diligently overseen the finances for NGIA, she has also established strong friendships with many Members and staff from all associations around the country.
“I have enjoyed working with the great NGIA team. Being part of the team on the last two national conferences gave me the opportunity to meet and talk to the many fantastic people in the industry. I will miss the chance of attending what I’m sure will be another great conference in Perth” says Jennifer.
For the last few years Jennifer has been working full time, sharing her days between two very different organisations, giving two days to NGIA. She now has decided to wind back from full time hours and focus on spending more time with family and travelling.
Jennifer’s last day with the industry is 31 August and interviews for her replacement are scheduled for the coming weeks. Members will be kept informed of this process and the appointment of a new Finance Manager for Greenlife Industry Australia.
Jennifer has been a valued and important member of the team at NGIA and we know you’ll all agree when we say she will be missed by both the office and the industry. Nonetheless, we wish her all the best in her travels and hope she enjoys a more relaxed lifestyle surrounded by plenty of greenlife - of course.
