2021 Australian Horticultural Trials Week
By Gabrielle Stannus
Presented by the Nursery & Garden Industry Victoria (NGIV) and Australia’s top breeders and growers, the 2021 Australian Horticultural Trials Week will run from 7 to 10 December at sites across metropolitan Melbourne, Victoria. Discover exciting new plant and product lines, visit some of Australia’s finest propagators and growers and enjoy networking with industry colleagues from across the country.
The Australian Horticultural Trials Week is a fantastic way for greenlife industry members to gain insight into product innovation, market trends and to network amongst peers. There is always something to learn, a relationship to develop and a great new product to find for the upcoming season.
Trials Week benefits all involved in horticulture across the country. It is a great stage to showcase innovative new genetics, share trial results, landscaping and retailing ideas and market trends from across Europe and the US. Attending Trials Week provides visitors with an excellent opportunity to learn from others, accelerate knowledge sharing and develop partnerships, thereby broadening and strengthening the horticultural network.
This year’s Trials Week will be opened at Ball Australia by The Hon. Mary-Anne Thomas, Minister for Agriculture.
With last year’s Trials Week proceeding amidst the uncertainty of COVID-19, exhibitors are excited to welcome interstate visitors back and put on a great show.
Why should you attend?
“The Australian Horticultural Trials Week is a major event in Australia’s horticultural calendar. Visitors from interstate and overseas bring an added dimension and have always enjoyed this unique event,” says Craig Taberner, NGIV’s Chief Executive Officer.
“I would certainly encourage our members to invite their interstate colleagues to attend and bring Australia’s horticulture industry together for a fantastic week of learning, networking and discovery,” adds Craig.
