Meet GIA’s new Communications Manager
Your Levy @ Work
Please join us in welcoming our new Communications Manager, Jennifer McQueen. From her base in Hobart, she’ll be overseeing the new levy-funded Nursery Communications Program.
"I’m excited to share how the pot levy works and highlight why it is so vital to our sector,’ Jennifer says. ‘I’ll be showcasing important projects the levy supports, and the ways everyone in the field can participate – and benefit."
Jennifer is a communications, marketing and strategy expert with almost 25 years’ experience in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors – from tax to climate science. The best part of her workday is engaging with stakeholders – so don’t hesitate to reach out for a chat!
"I'm new to horticulture, so I will be relying on the knowledge, expertise and experience of our stakeholders to make sure the communications program delivers what you need."
When she's not working, you'll find Jenn walking her dog, doing Pilates, cooking up a storm or kicking back with a great white (a sauv blanc, not a shark).
