Farewell to Chris O’Connor
After 8 years with the Association, tomorrow we farewell Chris O’Connor as he embarks on his new role with Macquarie University. We appreciate the contribution Chris has made to our industry and wish him all the best. The recruitment process for Chris’ replacement will commence shortly.
NGINA Trade Day & Plant Life Balance event
This month Karen Brock, President and I attended the NSW Trade Day event and Plant Life Balance (PLB) dinner. While the weather as the trade day was inclement, the torrential was very welcome and did not dampen trading. There was a great atmosphere and it was fantastic to catch up with NSW Members and several NGINA Directors.
Around 80 people attended the Plant Life Balance dinner where Ben Peacock of Republic of Everyone outlined the plan for the marketing program post 2020, focusing on Greener Spaces Better Places.
This month Karen will be visiting Western Australia and I have plans to be in Canberra for the middle of October. Please make contact if you would like to arrange a meeting.
Lastly, all the Greenlife Industry Australia and NGIA directors will be in Melbourne for the Strategic Plan workshop at the end of October.
As usual, if you have any questions comments or concerns with our activities, please contact me at ceo@greenlifeindustry.com.au.
